Marian Faupel and her partner Paul Fessler handled my divorce and custody action. At the time Marian came into the picture I was on 1-hour supervised visitation once a month with my 8 month-old daughter due to the false allegations of domestic violence from my ex-wife (she had 29 polaroids and a host of advocates). It all seemed so completely hopeless as men statistically have less than a 15% chance in winning custody battles. Let me tell you this... Marian is an amazing lawyer. She has an unbelievable knack at cross-examination and exposing lies. She performed "legal judo" on my Ex so many times that by the end of the trial she had turned the majority of my Ex's witnesses' testimony against her... including the domestic violence expert witness! With a great deal of effort and perseverance we were able to win SOLE LEGAL AND PHYSICAL CUSTODY of my daughter. This is a far cry from where I began... one hourly supervised visit a month and resigned to the fact that I would likely only be able to one day tell my daughter that I did everything I could to protect her from the abuse and violence I was exposed to. I never really expected that the truth of my Ex wife's abusive nature and mental unfitness (PTSD / BPD) would be exposed and that I really would be able to save my daughter from a life of abuse. You hear so many legal horror stories you plan for the worst and pray for the best. I HIGHLY recommend Marian and Paul to anyone out there fighting for their children. God bless.
